Scientific maturity: solid preliminary results, established proof of concept or convincing experimental data.
Impact: projects must demonstrate a significant contribution to patients, healthcare professionals or the biomedical ecosystem.
Progress: the project's ability to progress towards preclinical or clinical validation, or towards industrialisation.
Level of innovation and market potential: innovative nature of the technology, existence of an unmet need.
Team: scientific expertise, commitment of the project leader, complementary skills.
Applications will be pre-selected by a panel composed of representatives from BioAlps and the technology transfer offices of UNIL, CHUV, UNIGE and HUG. The panel will meet on 11 February and publish the list of selected projects (up to 30) on 12 February 2026.
