Who are we

The BIND is an event that started in 2006. It was initially organised by UNITEC, the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and Hospital of Geneva (HUG), joined later by the PACTT, the Technology Transfer Office of University of Lausanne (UNIL) and University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), to showcase the best of the academic life sciences research in Western Switzerland universities. In 2025, BioAlps - Western Switzerland Life Sciences Cluster is taking over the organisation of the event.

The event

In 2025, the BIND took place in Campus Biotech in Geneva and attracted about 260 participants from the Swiss HEalth valley. 29 projects in Medtech, Biotech and Digital Health pitched in front of 35 investors and a large crowd of innovation enablers and industry representative.

In 2026, BIND in back in Canton of Vaud, and will be gathering the innovators of the Swiss Health Valley at CHUV’s Grand Auditoire César Roux.
